Adidas ambassador Graeme Smith gave a cricket coaching clinic to the children of Khayelitsha in conjunction with the celebration of his 100th test match on Wednesday 17th October. Smith also handed over 100 pairs of adidas cricket boots to the club.

This is part of adidas' initiative to help inspire and give back to children from disadvantaged communities. Adidas ambassador Bryan Habana also helped hand over 100 pairs of adidas Gorletto II rugby boots to members of Bonteheuwel and Khayelitsha rugby clubs earlier this year. This followed Habana’s milestone of 100 Super Rugby appearances in the Stormers’ match against the Cheetahs in May. Members of these sporting clubs has a chance to interact and get first-hand tips from these sporting heroes.
